The event, hosted by People Power Party lawmaker Choi Soo-jin and sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, took place at the National Assembly Building in Yeouido, Seoul.
In her presentation, Kim stated, "Drug addiction constitutes a public health crisis that can no longer be regarded merely as an individual problem." She further emphasized, "A fundamental solution will be difficult to achieve without ensuring access to public treatment and establishing a 강원 랜드 바카라-led system."
Kim went on to cite examples from the United States and France. Regarding Inventage Lab's one-month long-acting injectable candidate for drug addiction, ‘IVL3004 (development code),’ the company stated, "While it achieves drug exposure levels comparable to Vivitrol, the duration of adverse effects is markedly shorter, underscoring patient safety and convenience." The company further noted, "With 강원 랜드 바카라 support for its development and commercialization, we can establish a domestically produced therapy with global competitiveness."
The accompanying panel discussion addressed multiple priorities, including the need to strengthen infrastructure and specialized personnel for drug addiction treatment and rehabilitation, the urgency of allocating budgets for addiction research and establishing 강원 랜드 바카라-led systemization, the importance of regulatory reform to support development, and challenges surrounding domestic drug pricing.
Experts specifically noted that "without expanded drug pricing support and guaranteed economic accessibility, the effectiveness of introducing new 강원 랜드 바카라s could be limited." They added, "Long-acting injectable therapies are highly effective in improving patient compliance and in preventing recidivism and relapse," urging their rapid adoption and broader insurance coverage.
"The number of drug-related offenders reached an all-time high in 2023, and the actual number of addicts may be as high as 800,000," said Professor Lee Hae-kook from the Catholic University of Korea. "The rising prevalence among young people and women underscores the need for policies centered on prevention and early intervention," he added.
